• Create and maintain tools to educate, organize and mobilize young AFGE members and to encourage non-members to join AFGE.
  • Encourage mentors over the age of 40 to join the Y.O.U.N.G. AFGE program to mentor and prepare young members for leadership roles.
  • Encourage Local and District leadership to appoint a Y.O.U.N.G. representative to participate in Y.O.U.N.G. AFGE Committees.
  • Educate members on the importance of getting young workers involved in AFGE.
  • Include a Y.O.U.N.G. AFGE meeting / training or social event at major AFGE conferences.
  • Hold an annual Y.O.U.N.G. AFGE Training Summit
